Description
The Rhythm Section Workshop is a hands-on, playing workshop that focuses on learning and developing the specialized skills necessary to become effective, stylistically appropriate rhythm section players.
Students will learn how to play, as a unit, in multiple styles including various rock/pop styles, country, swing, Latin (including bossa nova and samba), and bluegrass (among others).
The Rhythm Section Workshop is open to keyboardists, guitarists, bassists (upright and/or electric), drummers, mallets, and hand percussionists. **No rhythm section experience necessary.**
This class will meet on Mondays from 6 PM - 7 PM from September 12 - December 5, with a concert on December 5 at 6 PM
