Description
Experience one of the fastest-growing motorcycle rallies in the country as The Steel Horse Rally roars back into downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas, on May 5th & 6th, 2023.
The Steel Horse Rally features LIVE Entertainment, Scenic Rides & Poker Runs, Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade, Hundreds of Vendors, and so much more!
Honoring all who serve, the rally is dedicated to our veterans, military, law enforcement, and first responders. The charity motorcycle event also helps local charities and the community.

The Steel Horse Rally will officially kick off at Noon on Friday, May 5th.
VIB CHECK-IN
Welcome to all Very Important Bikers! Check-In at Steel Horse Rally Tent in Vendor Village at 800 block of Garrison Avenue (look for the giant mural).
Official Rally T-shirts & Merch
Will be available in the first tent from Garrison Ave. in Vendor Village at 800 block of Garrison Avenue.
Steel Horse Rally Charity Cups ($5)
Will be available at The Handle Bar & participating businesses. In order for ages 21+ with armband to walk freely with an adult beverage throughout the rally and downtown Entertainment District, this cup must be purchased. All proceeds go to benefit local charities.
Choctaw Casino Shuttle
The shuttle will run both nights from 8 PM to 12 AM at the top of the hour. Pickup will be on the Rogers Avenue side of Vendor Village located between main stage and Cisterna Park (look for the large mural).
May 5th (Friday)
10:30 AM | Public Guardians Poker Run
Enjoy a scenic ride through some of the best motorcycle roads in the country all for a great cause; helping local charities! Registration is from 10:30 Am to 12:30 PM a Fort Smith Hooters (6401 Rogers Ave.) which will open early with Steel Horse Rally specials. The last Bike/Group Ride will go out at 12:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded to the BEST and WORST hand. The best hand prize award amount will depend on the number of riders entered. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity. Ride to Artist Point and Devil’s Den and ends at Civil Axe Throwing on Garrison Ave.
Noon | Vendor Villages Open
This year there will be THREE Vendor Villages. The Steel Horse Rally Vendor Village will be located at 800 Garrison Avenue (look for the large mural). The Main Stage Vendor Village will be located at 601 Garrison Avenue directly across from First National Bank of Fort Smith. And the Cisterna Park Vendor Village will be located at 1001 Garrison Avenue where a large monument of General Darby atop his beloved Harley is visible from the street. View Map & Parking Info
6:30 PM | Garrison Avenue Bike Parking
Just look for signs and traffic cones marking where parking is allowed along Garrison Avenue — one the widest historic main streets in America — and be sure to put your front tire on the yellow lines! Garrison Avenue parking will be open to motorcycles until 12 AM! *Be sure to move your Motorcycles from the middle of the avenue by midnight.*
7 PM | LIVE Entertainment
Enjoy live music by Gary Hutchison & Friends on The Steel Horse Rally Main Stage at the corner of 6th & Garrison Avenue. Ages 21+ can enjoy beverages from the open-air Steel Horse Rally Handle Bar and VIB Area right in front of the stage. Plus, get your official Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup for a charitable donation of $5 and ages 21+ can walk through the rally and downtown entertainment district with their adult beverage. 100% of cup donations go to help local charities!
7 PM | Steel Horse Shootout
Pro & Amateur Motorcycle Races at Tri-State Speedway (1705 W. Race Track Rd. - Pocoloa, OK.) just minutes from downtown Fort Smith. Very Important Bikers enjoy the air-conditioned Shootout Lounge with a private bar and Rooftop access. Gates open at 5 PM and races begin at 7 PM.
May 6th (Saturday)
9 AM | Vendor Villages Open

9 AM | Law Enforcement Fun Run
Registration begins at 9 AM at Denny's (5910 Rogers Ave.) and kickstands go up at 10 AM. We'll ride the Thunder loop along the rock cliffs of Mulberry River to Oark, AR, down scenic Highway 215, and back to Riverfront Park in Fort Smith just in time for the Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade. The ride will make stops at the Valero gas station on Hwy. 23 both going and returning. $15 minimum charitable donation per biker. Proceeds benefit The Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity & Fort Smith Fraternal Order of Police.
10 AM | Steel Horse Handle Bar Opens
Enjoy ice-cold beverages and get your official Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup ($5).
10 AM | Cops & Cones Motorcycle Exhibition
Head to Cisterna Park at 1001 Garrison Avenue and watch law enforcement officers ride through this precision course of orange cones set up in the middle of Garrison Avenue. After the event, kids can have their photos made with the officers and their motorcycles. The fun, family-friendly event is free to the public, and a special thanks to the Fort Smith Police Department for making this event possible.
11 AM | The Steel Horse Strongman Showdown
The Steel Horse Strongman Showdown is the newest addition to The Steel Horse Rally. The FREE, family-friendly event will take place at The Steel Horse Rally Main Stage (6th & Garrison). Come watch Pro & Amateur athletes (women and men) battle head-to-head during this officially sanctioned event for their opportunity to advance to Regional Strongman Competitions! The Iron Warehouse in Fort Smith along with the Steel Horse Rally is proud to present this Strongman Corporation-sanctioned event.
NOON | LIVE Entertainment
Vertical Groove reunites & performs and at 1:30 pm Even Keel Band takes the stage.
4 PM | Thunder Through The Valley Motorcycle Parade
Onlookers are encouraged to find a good spot along Garrison Avenue to help us greet hundreds of motorcycles as they thunder down historic Garrison Avenue underneath a massive American Flag displayed by two Fort Smith Fire Department firetrucks and continue towards the mighty Arkansas River. Motorcycle line-up/staging begins at Riverfront Park (121 Riverfront Drive) at 3:30 PM. Larger 3-wheeled vehicles such as Slingshots may ride in the parade, however, for safety reasons, we ask that these vehicles ride behind all of the two-wheeled motorcycles. The parade is open to all kinds of motorcycles and is free to all participants. Donations to the Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity are appreciated.

More LIVE music by Gary Hutchison & Friends at The Steel Horse Rally Main Stage at the 600th block of Garrison Avenue. Ages 21+ can order drinks from Steel Horse Rally Handle Bar in front of the stage and make a charitable donation of $5 to receive an official Steel Horse Rally cup and walk through the rally and downtown entertainment district with an adult beverage.
8 PM | Miss Steel Horse Rally Bikini Contest
Make your way to The Steel Horse Rally Main Stage at the 600th block of Garrison Avenue (directly across from First National Bank of Fort Smith) to enjoy LIVE music and entertainment, and help us crown The 2023 Miss Steel Horse Rally. Contest Entry Form
9 PM | Hillbilly Vegas
Get ready for incredible live entertainment by Hillbilly Vegas on the Steel Horse Rally Main Stage at the 600 block of Garrison Avenue.
