Nature Photography Workshop - Full Moon

Of all the night’s celestial wonders, our moon is the closest, the brightest, and the largest. It is visible to us nearly every night. But many photographers are frustrated when trying to photograph the moon. This workshop will show you how you can make lunar photos to be proud of!

First, we will discuss how to set up our cameras for a well exposed image and select the best lens for the job. Then we will make photos of the moon at a location that will enhance the photos and the experience.

Instruction will be an interactive discussion and hands-on application on location.

• This class will be about 4 hours, but possibly longer, and will include an after-dark field trip.
• Prerequisite: Basic Digital Photography 2, or instructor’s permission
• Tuition: $100
• Class size: Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 5
• Equipment needed: a digital camera with Manual controls, a tripod.
