Description
Wildflowers are full of color and emotion. We use them to express our emotions to friends and loved for many events and reasons. In our area, wildflowers and gardens are everywhere in spring and summer. And we love to photograph them.
In this workshop, we will spend an evening in the classroom, discussing equipment, technique, camera settings, light, composition, and more. On Saturday morning, we will make an early caravan to a wildflower site and practice all the things we learned in class. Although we will discuss closeup techniques, a macro lens is not required.
Instruction will include interactive discussion, demonstrations, a PowerPoint presentation in the classroom, and hands-on application on location.
- Each class will be about 2 ½ hours, and the field trip will last 2 – 3 hours or longer.
- Prerequisite: Basic Digital Photography 2, or instructor’s permission
- Tuition: $125
- Class size: Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 5
- Equipment needed: a digital camera with Manual controls, a tripod.
