After years of preparation, the 53,000 sq. ft. Mary Carleton & Robert A. Young III Building and Samuel M. Sicard Hall of Honor were dedicated on September 24, 2019 along the banks of the mighty Arkansas River in downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas. The museum’s exterior features an iconic design—modified star-shape symbolic of the badge worn by U.S. Marshals—and five immersive interior galleries will educate guests on the critical, ever-evolving role of The U.S. Marshals service. While completion of the tourable galleries/exhibits is still in the works, The U.S. Marshals Museum is officially OPEN for business as an event venue.
Event planners have access to roughly 14,000 sq. ft. of usable indoor space, including a stunning river-view Atrium; temporary gallery space; and 5 meeting or breakout session rooms. The East Patio also provides additional outdoor event space.
